Anointing of the Sick

The Anointing of the Sick is meant to strengthen those who are seriously ill. Many mistakenly think of this sacrament as giving someone their "last rites." The Church teaches us that the Anointing of the Sick is for everyone who is "in danger of death" from sickness or old age. Most serious illnesses and any surgery that requires general anesthesia put us "in danger of death."

If you are homebound or hospitalized, please call the Parish Office to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. If you are scheduled for surgery, please call to arrange a time prior to your hospitalization.
