WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5
Mass with Distribution of Ashes: Mass will be at 6:30am, 8:15am and 6:45pm.
FRIDAY, MARCH 7
First Friday this month will be on March 7. Masses will be celebrated at 8:15am and at 12:10pm. There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament following the 8:15 Mass, with reposition at noon prior to 12:10 Mass.
SATURDAY-SUNDAY, MARCH 8 & 9
Regular collection for the Holy Family Food Pantry. Please bring your food donations to the Gathering Space.
MONDAY, MARCH 10
Holy Name Society Evening of Recollection will begin with 5:30pm Mass in the Church. A social hour and supper will follow in the Parish Hall. Please call the Church office (793-1330) and make your reservation.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12, 19, 26 AND APRIL 2 AND 9
Lenten Stations of the Cross and Soup Supper:. Stations of the Cross will be celebrated at 5:30pm and a light soup supper will follow.
Fast: Everyone 18 years of age and under 59 years of age is required to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. On these two days of fast and abstinence only one full meatless meal is permitted. Two other meatless meals, sufficient to maintain strength, may be taken according to each person's needs, but together these two should not equal another full meal. Eating between meals is not permitted, but liquids (including milk and juices) are allowed.
Young at Heart (YAH) Events*
TUESDAY, MARCH 25
Potluck dinner in the Parish Hall. There will be a Social at 5:30pm with dinner to follow at 6:00pm. There will be a speaker at about 6:30pm. Cost is $4.00 per person and please bring a dish to share.
SATURDAY, APRIL 12
Grapevine Social at It's All About Wine at 5:30pm. You do not have to drink wine to participate; other beverages are available. Please bring an appetizer to share. Call Roslyn Brookens (622-6299) if you have questions.
*Young at Heart has volunteers to provide rides to those who are unable to drive the events. If you need a ride, please call John Blean at 217-626-1567 or Ron Kuhn at 217-726-7106.
