Letter from Father Bob

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

This weekend marks the kickoff of the 2016 Annual Catholic Services Appeal, the yearly fundraiser that finances the services and ministries carried out by our Diocesan Church of Springfield in Illinois. If you haven't already, I encourage you to take a look at the detailed information concerning this annual appeal that is carried in the Sunday's Catholic Times, our diocesan newspaper (Sept 18 edition - dio.org/ct).

This week, all parish households will receive from Bishop Paprocki a special mailing containing the goals of this year's appeal and the services financed by this appeal. Also enclosed will be a pledge card for us to make a pledge or contribution.

This year's appeal theme is "Continuing the Mission of Charity." Support of this important annual appeal is an act of charity that helps us and many across our diocese.

Blessings,

Fr. Bob
