"This is the day the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it!" -Psalm 118:24
Dear Friends in Christ,
As we gather around the table of the Lord this most holy of days, we welcome into our midst here at St. Agnes eight new members. At the Vigil of Easter, two persons were baptized, confirmed and received the Eucharist:
In addition six persons already baptized in other Christian traditions were received into the Catholic Church, confirmed and also received the Eucharist:
These newest members join over 300 candidates across our diocesan Church who were received into the Church at this year's Easter Vigil - a source of blessing and encouragement for all of us in our lives of faith! Let us hold them in prayer as they journey together with us in living the life of the risen Christ in our midst.
May God smile graciously on our community of faith! Easter blessings to you and all your loved ones!
Peace in the Risen Lord,
