St. Agnes has launched a new religious education model for children in grades k-8 who do not attend Catholic School. This family based model asks parents to take up their Baptismal Promises and become the primary catechist. Click HERE for the family formation program details and registration. -
St. Agnes has many formation and relgious education opportunites. From our full day pre-school, elementary school, and our family formation program to RCIA and adult formation, there is something for everyone to participate. Sacrament Preparation
The Diocese of Springfield in Ilinois has changed the celebration of Confirmation and First Eucharist to the Restored Order. This means that Confirmaiton and Frist Eucharist are prepared for and celebrated at the same time; usually in 2nd and 3rd grade. You can view the preparation requirements and register HERE.

Rite of Christian Initiation of AdultsThe RCIA is the process by which a person, over the age of 7 and adults, can inquire about becoming Catholic and celebrate the Sacraments. Inquiry can happen at any time, so please call the parish to find out more. The process of RCIA includes regular sessions with other adults, prayer and parish involvment, with Baptism and other Sacraments celebrated during the Easter season. Welcome!
